| Kolkata City Mission exists as a response to the cries of the destitute. Through relationship with the urban poor, the spiritually and physically hungry, we strive to serve the whole person. To the children we bring an offering of education and dream-building for a better life. To the hungry we bring an offering of shelter. To the poor of spirit we bring a message of love and kinship. As the need change in urban communities, so our efforts will adapt. Through all these endeavours, our goal is to help raise the poor from degradation to a life of dignity and give them a vision of the light of Jesus and the divine promise of hope and great love for all people. | | |
